Scindapsus pictus
Light: Indirect Sun
Water: Once a Week
Soil Preference: Average (Normal Potting Soil)
Nickname(s): Silk Pothos, Silver Pothos
Geographical Origin
Native to India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo, Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and the Philippines.
Propagation
Preferably propagate in Spring or Summer. Clip about 4 inches from the vine and place either in water or a new pot of soil to root. I've found these to be so easy to propagate in water first, then pot when the roots are established.
Fun Facts
Pictus means "painted", referring to the variegation on the leaves. My friend Amy gave me mine!
