Native to Central America and the Caribbean

Propagation

  1. Cut a strand, about 5 inches long and with about 5 leaves, from the main plant.
  2. Remove the bottom 2-3 leaves from each stem cutting to expose the nodes along the stem - leaving 2-3 leaves on each cutting. Place in water and in bright, indirect light.
  3. Within a couple of weeks, you should see roots! Once the roots have reached about 1 inch in length, the cuttings can be moved back to soil.
